Rithiga joined the Public Law team at Gold Jennings as a trainee solicitor in January 2024. Before joining Gold Jennings, Rithiga worked at Leigh Day as a paralegal in the International department. She worked on the civil claims of Sri Lankan Tamil refugees who had been stranded on a British overseas territory.
Rithiga graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2022 with an LLB (Hons) in Law. During her time at Queen’s, she volunteered for two refugee rights charities, SolidariTee and STAR. Rithiga also campaigns for migrant rights and is part of a Refugee Rights campaign founded by members of the Tamil diaspora.
