James joined Gold Jennings as a Trainee Solicitor in the Public Law team in July 2026. Prior to joining Gold Jennings, James worked as a Paralegal in the Human Rights and Public Law team at Irwin Mitchell. During this time, he assisted on a range of matters, with a particular focus on claims against the police and inquest proceedings.
James graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an LLB in Law. While at university, he gained experience through placements at Leigh Day and Garden Court Chambers and volunteered with the Refugee Law Clinic. Following his undergraduate studies, James completed the LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 & 2) at the University of Law.
