Gold Jennings has been ranked by Chambers & Partners in its UK Guide 2026 as one of the country’s leading firms in Administrative and Public Law, Civil Liberties and Human Rights, Inquests, and Police Law. Nine of the firm’s lawyers have been individually ranked across five practice areas, highlighting the depth of expertise and exceptional talent within the firm.

Individual Rankings

  • Clare Jennings, Director and Head of Public Law and Community Care, maintains her Band 1 ranking in Administrative and Public Law and her Band 4 ranking in Civil Liberties and Human Rights.
  • Salima Budhani, Director and Joint Head of Public Law & Group Claims, has been recognised in Band 3 for Administrative and Public Law and Band 4 for Civil Liberties and Human Rights.
  • Matthew Gold continues to be ranked in Band 2 for Police Law and, for the first time, has been recognised as a Band 3 lawyer in Inquests, a new ranked category for the firm this year.
  • Dan Rosenberg, who recently joined to lead the firm’s Education and Community Care department, has been recognised in Band 1 for Education.
  • Rachel Etheridge, appointed as a Director earlier this year, has risen from Star Associate to Up-and-Coming Partner in Administrative and Public Law.
  • Olivia Halse, another recent addition to the directorship, has been promoted to Star Associate in Administrative and Public Law and, for the first time, recognised as an Associate to Watch in Civil Liberties and Human Rights.
  • Tim Lloyd has maintained his ranking as an Associate to Watch in Police Law.
  • Louise Eardley has also maintained her ranking as an Associate to Watch in Administrative and Public Law and Education.
