Chief Operating Officer
Location – Farringdon office (with potential for 1 day per week at home)
Hours: 21 hours per week (across 3 to 5 days between 9.30 to 5.30) (We would consider requests to work more or less than the advertised number of hours)
Start date – As soon as possible.
Salary –£60,000 to £65,000 (pro-rated) dependant on experience.

The Role
We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the financial and operational aspects of our expanding firm.
The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s Directors, have responsibilities for areas that include financial health, compliance, marketing and HR, and therefore play a leading role in the firm’s continuing growth.
The position is for ambitious candidates who already have significant leadership and operational management experience, ideally within the legal sector and who meet the person specification. Experience of legal practice, and in particular, legal aid is highly desirable.
The role presents an exciting opportunity for longer term career progression to director level for the right candidate.

Finance Officer
Location – Farringdon, EC1V 4JP
Part time role – 21 hours per week (worked between 3 to 5 days). We would consider applications from people wishing to work more or less than 21 hours per week.
Start date – As soon as possible.
Salary – £27,000 to £30,000 (pro-rated) – dependant on experience. We will consider applicants with varying experience. The role and salary will be adapted accordingly.

The Role
We are looking for a problem-solving Finance Officer with experience of accounts and legal billing (including legal aid) to work within our Practice Team to support our dynamic team of lawyers at our busy London office. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, submission, and management of invoices to clients and the claiming of costs from the Legal Aid Agency, which will include reviewing case files, time records, and disbursements to ensure accurate cost submissions. You will also play a vital role as the bridge between the firm’s outsourced cashiering service and fee-earners and the practice team to ensure all finance queries are dealt with promptly. You will also be responsible for dealing with office expenses and payments. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to support our team efficiently.
